Fabricators & Assemblers are the ultimate makers cutting, bending, welding, assembling using multiple processes to create machines, parts, and structures from various raw materials. Using results from computer aided designs and simulation software Fabricators take prototypes to production. Large fab shops employ a multitude of value-added processes, allowing fabricators to perfectly manufacture weldments and or assemblies using components generated by machining, metal stamping, water jetting, forging and casting. Assemblers are engineered product specialist that have an important role in the manufacturing process and encompass a full range of manufactured products. They assemble both fabricated and machined products and /or pieces that go into operating machines. Modern manufacturing systems use robots, computers, programmable motion-control devices, and various sensing and measuring technologies. Skilled assemblers put together complex machines assembly systems using precision tools and procedures with knowledge that is complemented by involvement in the design process.
