Makers IP Camp is located on 10 acres on the Cumberland Plateau in Cumberland County. The vision for the Makers IP project is to introduce traditional hands-on training to individuals and immediate families looking to change or complement their current lifestyles. The Makers IP Camp is a R&D testing center that evaluates tools, equipment, products, develops hands on equipment, product, and skills specific training models, teaching aides, homestead business models, and e commerce online product lines sale models. This includes but is not limited to implementation of working systems on campus for research and development of equipment (shop & farm tools, farm\/ag equipment, building systems) product lines (seeds, organics, soils,) training\/ teaching\/ business models (site prep, materials, schedules, conservation practices, food or product development, manufacturing). The team at the Monterey, TN Maker\u2019s IP Camp have a history of program development of collegiate design training models, ( TN Tech Motorsports, AISC Steel Bridge) youth 4-H training programs, (Jr Skill Centers, Jr Grillers,) youth STEM teaching aides, implementation and facilitation of multiple collegiate design engineering programs at TN Tech University. Current projects include curriculum, syllabus, and training facilities\/ equipment models for a Performance Vehicle program at Motlow Community College, McMinnville, TN. Fabrication (vehicle or machine), Blacksmithing, Food Production\/ Community Kitchen, including sustainable business facility, equipment and training models for the Hero\u2019s Retreat at Swafford\u2019s Hollow.
